Shelby House is pleased to welcome back Claire Barrett for another food & drink photography workshop, produced by Natalie Bovis, The Liquid Muse & Founder of the annual New Mexico Cocktails & Culture Culinary Festival.
Take your Instagram, website, hobby or business to the next level by learning to take your own stunning, pro-level photos of food and cocktails!
During this four-hour workshop taught by international photographer, Claire Barrett, creator of The Focused Feast, participants will learn:
Basics of Photography: we’ll get you comfortable using your camera in manual mode, discussing ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed
Visual Storytelling: how to choose a shooting space, styling techniques, use of props and surfaces, manipulation of natural light
Post-Production Techniques: using Adobe Lightroom
You will also have access to stunning props from the Spirited Goods shop, which boasts unique vintage and contemporary bar ware and appetizer serve ware. You will learn styling technique and gather shooting tips to make your photos jump off the page or screen. Finger food arrangements and faux cocktails will be provided for photographing.
DSLR, mirrorless, or smart phone is required for the workshop, and laptop computer is optional.
